Why the floor first

Cabinets on a finished floor.

Most storage companies install on bare concrete, and the floor never gets coated under them. We do the floor first, let it cure a full week, then set every cabinet level on top.

  • Cabinets on adjustable legs, so you can mop under them
  • Racks anchored to ceiling joists, never drywall
  • Slatwall screwed into studs every 16 inches
  • Everything on one invoice with your floor

Questions

Storage questions.

Why do storage after the floor?
So nothing sits on the new floor, and the cabinets sit level on a finished surface. We install the week after, once the clear coat has had a full cure.
Will racks fit over my garage door?
Most Valley garages have room for two 4 by 8 racks beside the door track. Nate measures ceiling height and the opener rail at the estimate.
What are the cabinets made of?
Powder-coated steel boxes with a butcher-block or stainless worktop, on adjustable legs so the floor still gets mopped underneath.
