Tox
How long does tox last?
Three to four months for most people. Regulars often stretch to four or five.
Will I look frozen?
Not if the dose is right for your face. That’s why we map first and start small. You can always add at day 14.
How many units will I need?
Forehead 8 to 12, the 11s 15 to 25, crow’s feet 16 to 24 for both sides. Most first visits are 20 to 50 units.
When will I see results?
Day 3 for a first hint, day 7 when most people notice, day 14 for the full result.
What’s the difference between BOTOX®, Dysport® and Jeuveau®?
All three relax muscles. BOTOX® Cosmetic is the original, Jeuveau® costs a little less per unit, and Dysport® spreads slightly more. Your injector will suggest one.
Filler
Is filler permanent?
No. Every filler we use is hyaluronic acid, which your body breaks down over 6 to 18 months, and it can be dissolved any time.
Half or full syringe for lips?
Half for a first visit almost every time. You can add the rest at your check-in.
Will I bruise?
Sometimes, for a few days. We use blunt cannulas where we can, which lowers the odds.
What if I don’t like it?
We dissolve it with hyaluronidase, which is always in the studio.
Skin
Which facial should I get?
A HydraFacial® for a glow with no downtime, a peel for spots and breakouts, dermaplaning for smooth makeup.
How many microneedling sessions do I need?
Three for most texture concerns, four to six for deeper acne scars.
When does SCULPTRA® work?
Slowly, from about month two, with most of the change by month six. It lasts up to two years.
Booking and prices
Do you charge by the unit or by the area?
By the unit, always. You see the count on your face map first.
Is there a deposit?
Injectable visits hold a $50 deposit that comes off your treatment. Consults never need one.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Free to change up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours, the deposit is kept.
Do you take Allē, Aspire or financing?
Allē and Aspire, yes. Cherry financing on anything over $1,500, sample terms with approved credit.
Can I book for a friend?
Yes, but they’ll need their own intake in the booking app. Health details are always private to them.
Safety
Who injects?
A nurse practitioner, physician assistant or registered nurse, every time, under standing orders from our medical director, Dr. Iris Kalani, MD.Me, Mara Ellison, a nurse practitioner, every time. My collaborating physician is Dr. Iris Kalani, MD.
Is it real Botox?
Yes. Every vial is bought direct from the manufacturer, opened in front of you, and the lot number goes on your chart.
Do I need an exam first?
Yes. Arizona requires a licensed prescriber to examine you, in person or by video, before your first injection. It happens at your consult or first visit.
Can I get tox while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. We wait until you’re done breastfeeding for tox and filler.
